Supervise and Lead Teams
Supervise and lead interdisciplinary teams of licensed and non-licensed caregivers and support staff, directing daily activities to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve clinical objectives.
Assess patient care needs and assign staff by developing and distributing daily assignments to clinical, non-clinical, and interdisciplinary team members, ensuring care is appropriate for the patient population.
Delegate duties safely and legally to clinical and non-clinical team members based on their assessed skills and abilities, in strict accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act.
Plan shift-wide care and evaluate performance by gathering team data to plan shift care, providing direct feedback and coaching, and recommending corrective or disciplinary actions when required.
Drive the hiring and evaluation process by conducting candidate interviews, making hiring recommendations, and providing ongoing verbal and written performance feedback to the clinical leader.
Minimum Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
Education Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences
Preferred candidate will possess five years of RN experience, demonstrating the ability to maintain composure and clinical excellence during difficult situations.
Analytical Skills: Proven proficiency in problem-solving and a meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and operational accuracy.
