Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor - Neurosciences
About the role
Join our 28-bed Neurosciences Unit at Atrium Health Cabarrus, recognized by The Joint Commission as an Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center and a Pathway to Excellence® designated hospital. Our team provides exceptional care to patients with stroke, seizure disorders, multiple sclerosis, Guillain-Barré syndrome, and other complex neurological conditions. The unit features six Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) rooms for continuous EEG monitoring and three Intermediate Care beds for patients requiring advanced observation and specialized nursing expertise. We foster a supportive, team-centered culture where nurses are empowered to grow, lead, and contribute to continuous improvement through shared governance and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
- Minimum two years nursing experience preferred.
- Previous management experience preferred.
- BSN required.
Qualifications
- BLS required per policy guidelines.
- RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program within 1 year of Hire/Transfer date and must complete program within 3 years of enrollment in the program.
