Registered Nurse - Circulating Operating Room - Full-Time Days

Role: RN Clinical Periop Nurse, responsible for delivering high-quality, safe patient care in the operating room environment. Key Responsibilities Perform nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practices.Provide patient-centered care tailored to individual needs, respecting cultural diversity.Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision-making.Coordinate safe and quality care delivery within an interdisciplinary team, ensuring thorough documentation.Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research, and promote evidence-based practice.Mentor and serve as a preceptor for other nurses and healthcare staff.Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and ethical guidelines, including regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care nursing experience.Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelors preferred.RN license (single state or multi-state compact) and BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required.Knowledge of the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and adherence to the ANA Code of Ethics. Additional Duties: Participate in protocol development, resource management, and support organizational goals for safety and quality. Must be adaptable, collaborative, and committed to professional growth.
