Registered Nurse Charge

Role: Provides leadership and coordination of nursing staff to ensure quality patient care and achievement of clinical objectives. Responsibilities: Assigns, educates, and monitors staff during shifts, collaborates with advanced practice providers, evaluates patient care effectiveness, manages complaints, and participates in staff hiring and development. Develops patient care plans based on daily needs and ensures population-appropriate care. Performs performance evaluations and works safely at all times. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program and at least one year of RN experience. Must hold current BLS certification and an active RN license valid in the applicable state (Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Wisconsin). Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, exposure to sensory inputs, and occasional patient handling and movement. Requires good vision, hearing, and communication skills. Additional Details: Role involves night shifts and is classified as PRN.
