Registered Nurse - Charge - Acute Care - MedSurg Oncology - Full-Time Night

About the role

The RN Clinical Charge Nurse oversees daily unit operations to ensure safe, high-quality patient care, practicing within evidence-based standards and the WellStar Nursing Practice Model. They act as a caregiver, sometimes taking modified patient assignments, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized care emphasizing safety, respect, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred)
• Valid RN licensure (single-state or multi-state)
• Required certifications such as BLS
• Minimum one year of nursing experience
• Preferred experience as a relief charge nurse or with clinical leadership roles
