Registered Nurse, CF - California State Prison Solano (SOL)
This part-time position is located at CA State Prison, Solano in Vacaville, CA (Solano County). The role is 24 hours per week with a monthly salary range of $5,991 to $7,142.
Effective July 1, 2025, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) applies: full-time employees in Bargaining Unit 17 will have a 3% base salary reduction and receive 5 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Part-time and permanent intermittent employees are subject to prorated conditions.

Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Supervising Registered Nurse II/III, the Registered Nurse (RN), CF:
- Organizes and provides necessary nursing care in correctional health care settings in accordance with policies, procedures, regulations, and program requirements.
- Collaborates with the health care team to ensure the delivery of appropriate and timely health care to patients.
- Coordinates interdisciplinary communication to promote continuity of care.
- Addresses ongoing health care needs of patients and promotes the timely, efficient, and appropriate use of health care resources.
Requirements
- Possession of a current license as a Registered Nurse in California. (Applicants who do not meet this requirement may take the examination but must secure the license before appointment.)
