Registered Nurse - Cath Lab
Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations.
- Adds to the psychosocial, physical, and overall care of patients within the surgical environment.
- Communicates with physicians regarding patient conditions, both continuously and as necessary.
- Maintains and manages equipment and inventory in the Cardiovascular Lab.
- Affirms the functionality and readiness of the procedure room or equipment.
- Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures the Cardiovascular Lab team's needs are met.
- Maintains continuous monitoring of physiological and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Maintains and records the condition of patients within the Cardiovascular Lab.
- Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN); preferred.
- Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; required.
- Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certificates upon hire and must maintain current; required.
- One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area; required.
Pay
Competitive compensation with a reasonable estimate for this role being $46.54 per diem. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, considering a variety of factors including skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
