Registered Nurse - Cath Lab

About the role

Exeter Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking an experienced Full-Time Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join their growing cardiovascular team. Located in scenic Exeter, New Hampshire, the hospital offers resources of a leading regional health network while maintaining a close-knit, patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Positions and immobilizes patient on examining table following specified protocols.
• Continuous assessment of patient hemodynamics.
• Performs conscious sedation.
• Mix and maintains IV/IC infusion and bolus.
• Alerts Physician to changes in patient responses.
• Auxiliary in interventional procedures.
• Recovery of patient to Phase Act.
• Acts as a liaison between family, patient and Physician.
• Performs procedures to include non-sterile, dressing changes and maintaining aseptic technique.

Requirements

• Recent Cardiac Cath Lab or EP experience.
• Candidates without CCL experience, 2+ years ICU / PCU / ED required.
• May consider recent cardiac telemetry / post cardiac cath care experience and can demonstrate critical thinking skills.
• Graduate from accredited RN Program. BSN preferred.
• RN license - NH or other Compact State.
• ACLS and BLS required upon hire.
