REGISTERED NURSE: Cardiovascular Center (Cardiovascular OR Internship)

Responsibilities

• CVC-OR INTERNSHIP: Six-month operating room orientation program.
• Teaches RN a wide range of skills and knowledge.
• Prepares intern for role as perioperative nurse.
• Rotates through multiple specialties.
• Expected to function safely and effectively in various cases.
• Position is 40 hours per week, includes Day/Night shifts with call and weekend/holiday obligations.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate Nurse or newly licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
• Must be able to fulfill call commitment with 30-minute response time.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Satisfactory attendance record proven by employment references.
• Ability to work with a non-responsive patient population.
• Demonstrated ability to handle stress, conflict, and resolution.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, teamwork abilities.
