Registered Nurse - Cardiology/Electrophysiology

About the Role

This position involves performing a variety of clinical procedures in a catheterization and electrophysiology lab, requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. The registered nurse implements the nursing process, providing patient-centered care tailored to age-specific needs, addressing biological, emotional, psychosocial, and educational aspects.

Responsibilities

• Perform intraprocedural care, including administering conscious sedation and maintaining sterile technique.
• Manage IVs and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Provide patient transport, education, and documentation.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with physicians and maintain departmental records.
• Participate in training and quality improvement activities.
• Foster a compassionate and collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Valid RN license (single or multi-state).
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• At least 1 year of ICU/CCU/ER or Cath Lab/EP Lab experience preferred.
