Registered Nurse - Electrocardiology
About the role
Pali Momi Medical Center, with 118 beds and a medical staff of over 400 physicians, serves the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital is known for its medical innovations, including the only interventional cardiac catheterization unit, a minimally invasive surgical suite, a women's center, advanced imaging services, and the state's first retina center. It is also recognized for its emergency room triage system and specialized cardiac services.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional and compassionate nursing services through assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of patient care.
- Function as an associate to a charge nurse and assume charge nurse responsibilities with time.
- Assist in providing care for patients undergoing cardiac stress tests, echo studies, contrast studies, bubble studies, andTEE studies.
Requirements
- Current Hawai‘i Registered Nurse License.
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.
- One (1) year recent acute care Registered Nurse experience in Electrocardiology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field.
- Two (2) years recent Registered Nurse experience in Imaging.
- Experience with Cardiac Stress tests, Stress Echo studies, Echo contrast studies, Bubble studies and Tee studies.
- Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) CPR cards.
