Registered Nurse Cardiology

Responsibilities

• Functions as a member of the Cardiovascular Service line supporting Noninvasive Cardiology.
• Supports the development and implementation of care plans and education.
• Helps ensure the smooth, efficient flow of both inpatients and outpatients across the Cardiovascular Service line and the hospital.
• Performs a range of cardiovascular procedures under limited supervision.
• Oversees and manages patient handoffs.
• Administers medications and monitors patients during various cardiovascular tests and exercise programs, including stress testing, EKG testing, and heart monitor applications.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Certified ACLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Employment Status: Part Time > 59 Shift Days
