Role Overview The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They ensure adherence to organizational policies, maintain practice standards, and coordinate patient care activities of assigned staff to deliver quality nursing services. Key Responsibilities Deliver patient-centered nursing care Coordinate and oversee care activities Follow organizational policies and procedures Demonstrate professional growth and accountability Maintain standards of practice Read and interpret EKG strips in telemetry settings Qualifications & Skills Graduate of a nursing program Minimum of 1 year of hospital telemetry experience Ability to read EKG strips Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC Multistate license BLS and ACLS certifications Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and advanced certifications PRN: hospital experience preferred
