Role Overview The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. They ensure adherence to organizational policies, demonstrate professional growth, and maintain standards of practice. The nurse coordinates patient care activities among assigned staff to deliver quality nursing services. Key Responsibilities Delivering patient-centered care based on assessments and care plans Coordinating and supervising nursing staff activities Ensuring compliance with policies and standards Maintaining professional accountability and growth Qualifications & Skills Graduate of a nursing program At least 1 year of telemetry experience with EKG reading skills Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC multistate license BLS and ACLS certifications Preferred: hospital nursing experience, bachelor’s degree, and specialty certifications
