Registered Nurse - Cardiac Stepdown Unit

About the role

Seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical setting.

Responsibilities

• Apply standards of nursing practice to enhance patient care and quality of life.
• Develop individualized care plans through assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate care and ensure cultural sensitivity.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and comfort measures.
• Serve as a mentor and role model to colleagues and students, promoting a positive work environment.
• Utilize evidence-based practices tailored to patient age and clinical needs.
• Perform point of care testing and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
• Active RN license in relevant states, with BLS certification.
• Strong communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform clinical tasks.
