Registered Nurse / Cardiac Rehab

Job Summary

Clinical care in the Cardiac Rehab program requires management of patients in the rehabilitation phase of their recovery from cardiac events or diseases which include, MI, PCI, valve surgery, CABG, heart failure, heart transplant, angina, and other complex varieties of heart disease. The program consists of monitored exercise, strength, yoga, meditation, and educational presentations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and vital signs during exercise
• Group patient education
• Complete individualized treatment plans
• Physical assessment
• Evaluations of patients
• Quickly interpret telemetry rhythms
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Respond quickly to acute events
• Flexible to meet the needs of the department

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
• Current MA RN license required
• BSN required
• Minimum of 5 Years Nursing Experience Required
• Cardiac telemetry experience required
• Previous ED or Critical Care Experience Required
• BLS & ACLS required
• Previous Cardiac Rehab Experience Preferred
