Registered Nurse / RN Cardiac Rehab

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for assisting in the delivery of personalized, professional and quality patient care, internal and external customer service, assuming responsibility and accountability for the patient, providing nursing care for the patient to include:

• The assessment, planning, implementation, education, management and evaluation of the patient within the standards of nursing care and operational guidelines.
• Preparation of all departmental paperwork.
• Entering and retrieving patient information from the Hospital Information System (HIS).
• Providing nursing care or education in other nursing units when necessary.
• Maintaining the work area in a clean and organized manner.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a NLN/AACN accredited program in nursing
• 1+ year of experience
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure by the NJ State Board of Nursing
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience
• Previous employment in a cardiovascular setting
