Registered Nurse - Cardiac Rehab

About the role

The Cardiovascular Rehabilitation and Wellness Program at Exeter Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team. As a key member of the multidisciplinary care team, the RN will provide clinical oversight and supervision of telemetry-monitored exercise sessions, deliver evidence-based education and counseling, and participate in community outreach and educational initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive exercise training, education, and counseling focused on the primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease.
• Provide clinical oversight and supervision of telemetry-monitored exercise sessions, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Deliver evidence-based education and counseling related to lifestyle modification and cardiovascular risk reduction, both in group classes and individual sessions.
• Participate in community outreach, educational lectures, and wellness-focused initiatives to promote long-term heart health beyond the clinical setting.

Requirements

• RN License - NH State or any other compact state
• BSN Preferred
• Past ER, ICU/CCU or Telemetry Step-down unit experience is required.
• BCLS needed within 30 days of hire
• ACLS certified or within 6 months of hire.
