Registered Nurse - Cardiac/Neuro

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, effective, and patient-centered care using the nursing process, while maintaining professional accountability. They evaluate care effectiveness, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, uphold patient rights, and ensure confidentiality, aligning with organizational standards.

Responsibilities

Care is focused on a specialized Cardiac/Neuro unit caring for neurological and stable cardiac patients, including stroke, brain injury, seizures, post-op craniotomy, spinal injuries, and cardiac monitoring. The RN collaborates with team members to deliver comprehensive care for a 24-bed unit.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree (associate's, diploma, or BSN)
• Current RN license in the relevant state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or specialized unit certifications may be required

Skills & Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to perform tasks requiring reaching, bending, kneeling, and twisting
