Role: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, effective, and patient-centered care using the nursing process, while maintaining professional accountability. They evaluate care effectiveness, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, uphold patient rights, and ensure confidentiality, aligning with organizational standards. Responsibilities: Care is focused on a specialized Cardiac/Neuro unit caring for neurological and stable cardiac patients, including stroke, brain injury, seizures, post-op craniotomy, spinal injuries, and cardiac monitoring. The RN collaborates with team members to deliver comprehensive care for a 24-bed unit. Qualifications: Requires a nursing degree (associate's, diploma, or BSN) and a current RN license in the relevant state. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is mandatory, with additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, or specialized units possibly required. Skills & Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform tasks requiring reaching, bending, kneeling, and twisting. Why Join?
