About the Role

Provide patient-centered, safe, and effective care using the nursing process in a specialized Cardiac/Neuro unit. This unit focuses on neurological and stable cardiac patients, including those with stroke, brain injury, seizures, post-op craniotomy, spinal injury, and cardiac monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Uphold patient rights and confidentiality.
  • Ensure care aligns with organizational standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program (associate's, diploma, or BSN).
  • Current RN license.
  • BLS certification; additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC, or department-specific certifications may be required.

Physical Skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Perform physical tasks including reaching, bending, and kneeling.
