About the Role
Provide patient-centered, safe, and effective care using the nursing process in a specialized Cardiac/Neuro unit. This unit focuses on neurological and stable cardiac patients, including those with stroke, brain injury, seizures, post-op craniotomy, spinal injury, and cardiac monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Uphold patient rights and confidentiality.
- Ensure care aligns with organizational standards and best practices.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (associate's, diploma, or BSN).
- Current RN license.
- BLS certification; additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC, or department-specific certifications may be required.
Physical Skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Perform physical tasks including reaching, bending, and kneeling.
