Registered Nurse - Cardiac Intensive Care Unit

About the Role

Saint Luke’s Hospital is looking for a talented Registered Nurse to join the dynamic Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU). This is a part-time position working 24 hours on night shifts. The CICU team includes supportive leadership, Nursing Assistants, Intensivists, Nurse Practitioners, and Respiratory Therapy available at night. Extra incentives are available for picking up additional shifts.

Responsibilities

• Functions independently and is accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
• Coordinates care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team.
• Delegates tasks appropriately and identifies hospital resources.
• Serves as a clinical resource for new employees.
• Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within the unit or department.

Requirements

• Applicable experience: Less than 1 year accepted.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Associate Degree in Nursing.
