Registered Nurse - Cardiac Catheterization Lab Recovery

Role Overview

This position involves managing post-procedural recovery for cardiac and vascular patients, ensuring hemodynamic stability, monitoring for complications, and providing patient education.

Responsibilities

• Lead post-procedure cardiac recovery, monitoring vital signs and heart rhythm.
• Manage arterial and venous access points, preventing vascular complications.
• Interpret data and adjust interventions to ensure patient stability.
• Educate patients and families on long-term heart health protocols.
• Identify early signs of vascular distress or cardiac events to prevent complications.

Qualifications & Skills

• Registered Nurse license from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
• Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) and BLS certifications; Pediatric ALS preferred.
• Educational background with a nursing diploma or equivalent licensure.
