Registered Nurse - Cardiac Care - Night Shift

About the Role

Provide evidence-based care to adult cardiac and heart failure patients in a Progressive Cardiac Care Unit (PCU). Responsibilities include continuous monitoring, medication administration, management of cardiac drips, and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to cardiac and heart failure patients
• Perform continuous monitoring of cardiac rhythms and patient status
• Administer medications, including cardiac drips, and manage infusion protocols
• Provide patient and family education on heart failure management and care plans
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers
• Respond to cardiac emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions
• Operate and interpret advanced telemetry and cardiac monitoring equipment

Requirements

• Active nursing license
• Relevant clinical experience in cardiac care, heart failure, or progressive care settings
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, telemetry, and emergency response
• Strong skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and care coordination
