About the Role
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you'll work alongside an experienced and supportive team. You'll help achieve your professional goals by working with exceptional educators and mentors. The ICU nurses provide care for a diverse population of critically ill patients, including those requiring various medical interventions.
Responsibilities
- Assess the patient’s condition and perform diagnostic tests
- Begin treatments and assist doctors with medical procedures
- Maintain and adjust specialized equipment
- Interpret and record electronic displays related to patient conditions
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
- Previous nursing experience preferred
Qualifications
- RN license active in the state of Missouri
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
