Registered Nurse (Behavioral Health)

Responsibilities

• Perform professional nursing duties, including nursing assessment documentation, physical assessments/vitals, medication review and prior authorization (PA) form completions.
• Manage, instruct and educate mentally and emotionally disabled clients.
• Work with child, adolescent, and adult clients.
• Interact with parents/guardians.
• Work closely with a Psychiatrist and/or Nurse Practitioner to assess each client’s medication compliance and any additional needs.

Requirements

• Three to five years of prior nursing/clinical mental health nursing experience.
• Registered Nursing License in the state of Georgia.
• Prior Mental Health and/or prior Authorization experience.
