About the role
We are seeking a Staff RN in our ever-expanding, fast-paced Emergency Department. Our acuity level and admission rates are consistently high due to our transplant patient population and our chest pain accreditation. In this 22-bed department, you will have the opportunity to work with board-certified physicians who depend on your strong assessment skills, critical thinking and independent decision-making ability to safely expedite patient care. Unit clerks and ancillary staff are an intricate part of this professional team.
Responsibilities
Provide safe and timely patient care using strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and independent decision-making. Collaborate with board‑certified physicians, unit clerks, and ancillary staff to expedite care in a high‑acuity, 22‑bed ED.
Requirements
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- TNCC certification preferred
Qualifications
Orientation is provided for experienced ED RNs, seasoned staff members who wish to cross‑train into emergency medicine, and the “right” new graduate who demonstrates the knowledge level, work ethic, and motivation necessary to successfully care for our patients.
Skills
