About the role
Veterans Inc., the largest provider of supportive services to Veterans and their families in New England, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our substance abuse treatment programs.
Responsibilities
- Conducts nursing and medication assessments for patients upon admission
- Oversight of medication dispensing
- Monitoring patients' health progress
- Delivering health education groups
- Providing case management services
Requirements
- Minimum Associate's degree from an accredited school of Nursing required
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing is highly valued
- Current and valid Massachusetts licensure as a Registered Nurse
- CPR certification required
- One year of nursing experience preferred
- Experience in substance abuse treatment settings is highly valued
- Successfully pass a CORI/Background records check
- Complies with Veterans Inc. COVID-19 Vaccination Policy
Qualifications
- Must be able to successfully pass a CORI/Background records check
- Religious and Medical Exemptions considered
