Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality end-of-life care to clients and their families in their homes.
• Collaborate with the palliative care and the wider BlueCare community service teams to ensure comprehensive care plans.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative service models for palliative care.
• Support clients and their families through emotional, psychological, and practical needs.
• Adapt to the unique needs of each client and family, ensuring personalized care.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse Licence and Registration Certificate in the employing State.
• Hold a Bachelor of Nursing degree or an equivalent qualification.
• Show mid to senior level proficiency in general nursing, showcasing clinical expertise and a person-centered care approach.
• Prior experience or ongoing pursuit of qualifications in palliative care, pain management, or acute care is highly valued.
• Demonstrate aptitude in effective communication and collaboration with clients and stakeholders to address care requirements.
• Possess a current driver's license and the confidence to navigate rural and remote areas of Queensland.

Qualifications
