Registered Nurse

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with established clinical standards.
• Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and identify changes in patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Auxiliary patient care and clinical procedures under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and medical records.
• Inform patients and families about medications, treatment plans, and health management.
• Support preventive care, follow-up care, and patient care coordination.
• Respond appropriately to urgent and emergency clinical situations.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and healthcare compliance procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity and quality of care.

Mandatory Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Licenses from any U.S. state are acceptable.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Ability and willingness to work in Shiprock, New Mexico.
• Willingness to commit to a 1-year contract assignment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ATCN, or NLS.
• Experience in Ambulatory Care, Primary Care, Outpatient Care, Rural Health, Community Healthcare, or Indian Health Service (IHS).
