About the Role
We’re seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide clinical oversight, consultation, and care coordination for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in the Los Angeles metro area.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight and guidance to nursing staff supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in community-based residential settings
- Monitor Adult Residential Facilities for Persons with Special Health Care Needs (ARFPSHN) and specialized residential facilities to ensure quality care and regulatory compliance
- Conduct audits of care plans, clinical documentation, and regulatory standards to ensure quality and consistency of services
- Perform post-placement follow-up and support resource development and whole-person assessment processes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, healthcare providers, residential staff, and community partners to support positive health outcomes
- Serve as a clinical resource to nursing staff and providers, offering guidance on complex health, safety, and care coordination needs
- Support community resource development and provide technical assistance to service providers and stakeholders
- Function in a primarily supervisory, audit, and clinical oversight role with no direct bedside responsibilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Active California RN license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in developmental disabilities or related clinical oversight
- Experience with CPP/CRDP populations and health & safety requirements
- Knowledge of DDS guidelines, licensing standards, and community-based services
- Experience providing training, clinical support, and working with community resources
Skills
- RN supervisory experience overseeing bedside RNs/LVNs in IDD or residential settings
- Strong background in clinical auditing, compliance, and care plan oversight
- Effective communicator and collaborative team partner
Pay
Compensation: $120,000 annually + Travel, Cell Phone, and Internet Stipend
