Registered Nurse
Lake Jackson Oral Surgery is seeking a talented Nurse to join our busy specialty practice. You will play an essential role in ensuring the overall well-being of our patients. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and skilled professional with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Assist the team in providing high-quality care to patients.
- Administer medications and provide IV sedation as needed.
- Monitor patients during and after surgical procedures.
- Respond to patient questions and concerns.
- Prepare patients for procedures and administer local anesthesia as directed.
- Collect and maintain patient data in an electronic medical records system.
- Adhere to all hospital/practice policies and procedures regarding patient care.
- Facilitate and coordinate other office responsibilities as needed.
- Ensure excellent patient service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the Dentist’s shoulders.
- Keep the patient relaxed and comfortable during their visit, serving as their go-to resource.
Requirements
- Current and valid nursing license.
- At least 1-2+ years of nursing experience.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to operate standard office equipment.
- Must be able to assist patients safely in and out of chairs or treatment areas.
- Must be able to maintain clinical positioning for extended periods.
- Must be able to work around medical equipment and instruments.
- Must be able to adhere to OSHA and infection control standards.
- Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements.
- Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations.

Position Base Pay Range: $39 USD - $44 USD
