Registered Nurse

Central State Hospital is seeking full-time Registered Nurses for night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) and day shift (7:00 AM–7:00 PM).

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care activities utilizing the nursing process through active participation in the treatment planning process.
• Demonstrate knowledge and application of the nursing process throughout the patient’s hospitalization, from admission to discharge, consistent with the patient’s age, gender, and cultural-specific needs.
• Assess, supervise, and maintain the safety, integrity, and therapeutic nature of the milieu.
• Complete documentation and assignments within established time frames.

Requirements

• Kentucky RN License
• Valid Driver’s License

Pay

• Base hourly pay: $37.50
• Weekend premium: additional $1.00 per hour
• Shift differential: 10% hourly wage increase from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM; 12% hourly wage increase from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Schedule

• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Rotating weekends
