Role Overview
Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality patient care across diverse clinical settings in the skilled nursing and short-term rehab industry. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to promote optimal health outcomes for patients of all ages. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential to ensure comprehensive care, advocacy, and patient/family education to support recovery and health maintenance. The role requires managing complex medical situations, including wound care, while maintaining patient safety and comfort, ultimately impacting patient well-being and healthcare effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitor and document conditions, and administer treatments safely.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and preventive strategies.
- Advocate for patient needs, ensuring ethical and individualized care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with standards.
- Support medical/surgical nursing tasks tailored to patient demographics and clinical needs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid RN license in the U.S. and completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience in direct patient care, medical/surgical nursing, and knowledge of clinical documentation.
- Skills in patient assessment, medication administration, patient education, advocacy, and collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Preferred certifications such as CMSRN, experience with wound care, and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).
