Registered Nurse

About the Role

We are seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) and an ADON to join our team at VAMC in Kansas City, Kansas in a full-time capacity. Minimum Qualifications: Current state license to practice as an RN, Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Two years of experience as an RN and one year of supervisory experience, Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to work independently and as part of a team, Administrative leadership, recruitment/retention efforts, and compliance of all hospital/facility policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Administrative leadership, recruitment/retention efforts, and compliance of all hospital/facility policies and procedures
• The ADON provides supervision to the unit leaders, and is responsible for assisting in disciplinary actions
• The ADON provides supervision to RNs regarding policies, procedures, and patient care delivery
