New Employee Retention Bonus

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Implement patient care.
  • Assess patients both physically and mentally.
  • Collaborate with Psychiatrist, Therapist, Dietitians, and other members of the clinical team to develop appropriate plans of care.
  • Communicate with patients and their families.
  • Administer medication.

Education/Training Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Registered nurse licensed by State Board of Nursing in the state of employment.
  • American Health Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification or required within thirty (30) days of date-of-hire.
  • Bi-annual re-certification is required.
  • Formal training in management of the aggressive patient is required within sixty (60) days of date-of-hire.
  • Annual re-certification is required.
  • Previous psychiatric experience with children, adolescents and adults preferred.
  • May be required to hold a qualified medical professional (QMP) designation.
  • Must be deemed competent to serve as a QMP, as outlined in the Medical Staff bylaws of Rogers Memorial Hospital.
  • Employees at the Child/Adolescent Day Treatment programs licensed under HFS40 are required to have either training in psychiatric nursing, including training in work with children with mental health disorders, or one (1) year of experience working in a clinical setting with these children.

About the Role

The Registered Nurse will be working in a residential facility primarily at the Oconomowoc campus however some positions may be required to float to all three campuses (Oconomowoc, West Allis and Brown Deer).

Schedule

  • Full-Time (36-40 hours)
  • Part-Time (24-32 hours)
  • Pool 2 (Flex)

Shifts Available

  • 7:00am-3:30pm
  • 3:00pm-11:30pm
  • 11:00pm-7:30am
