RES Home Care is a licensed home care agency seeking a Field Registered Nurse to assist in planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating healthcare and professional services.

This position oversees the opening of cases, the supervision of aides, and the orientation process for both employees and client care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating healthcare and professional services of the Licensed Home Care Service Agency
• Oversee the opening of cases
• Supervise aides
• Manage the orientation process for employees and client care
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the agency
• Read, analyze, and interpret general business correspondence
• Present information and respond to questions from managers, patients, customers, and the general public
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations
• Solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization
• Interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Requirements

• NYS licensed and currently registered as a registered professional nurse
• Graduate of an approved school of nursing
• Two (2) years as a supervising community health nurse or two (2) years of home care nursing experience plus a master's degree in nursing, public health, business administration, or another health-related field
