About the role

Premise's mission is to help people get, stay, and be well. As a Full Time Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Newberry, MI. This is a single-nurse outpatient clinic supporting both RN-only visits and virtual provider appointments, with a mix of clinical and administrative responsibilities including patient care, scheduling, referral follow-up, and general clinic operations. You'll build meaningful relationships with employees and dependents while supporting onsite wellness events, patient education, and client engagement activities. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Schedule

30 hours per week, Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8:00 AM–3:00 PM, Tuesday 11:00 AM–6:00 PM, Thursday 10:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a 1-hour scheduled lunch each day. No weekends; consistent daytime weekday hours promoting strong work/life balance.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC, or equivalent Basic Life Support for healthcare providers required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may be required based on contract scope
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic, or other ambulatory care clinic
