Title: Registered Nurse Practice: Associated Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons Location: Peoria, IL Registered Nurse (RN) – Oral Surgery Pay: $30.00–$37.00 per hour, based on experience We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to join our oral surgery team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with oral surgeons and experienced clinical professionals while providing high-quality care throughout all phases of the surgical experience. The RN plays an important role in patient safety, clinical support, surgical procedures, and postoperative recovery. The ideal candidate is a compassionate and dependable nursing professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical environment and is committed to delivering an exceptional standard of patient care. Key Responsibilities Provide clinical support and patient care before, during, and after oral surgery proceduresMonitor patients throughout the perioperative process and postoperative recoveryStart, maintain, and discontinue IVs and administer medications as orderedAssist with surgical procedures, sedation monitoring, and patient recoveryPerform patient assessments, blood draws, glucose testing, and PRP proceduresRead and interpret EKG stripsSafely recover and discharge patients following proceduresProvide patients with clear pre- and postoperative education and instructionsMaintain accurate and thorough clinical documentationSupport infection control, medication management, emergency preparedness, and patient safety standardsCollaborate with surgeons and clinical team members to maintain an efficient workflow and high standard of care Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing stateAssociate or bachelor’s degree in nursing (ADN or BSN) preferredCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationACLS, sedation/anesthesia, or other advanced certifications preferredPrevious nursing experience in surgical, perioperative, Med/Surg, or critical care settings highly preferredStrong patient assessment, clinical documentation, and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentCommitment to patient safety, professionalism, and quality care Benefits We are committed to supporting our employees with a comprehensive benefits package.
