About the Role
The Pre-Op/Post-Op Registered Nurse (“RN”) will join our Surgery Center and work alongside our Physicians in our renowned, multi-subspecialty eye care group. The RN is responsible for providing exemplary patient care alongside our Physicians as we treat cataracts, glaucoma, diseases of the cornea, and perform laser vision correction surgeries. You’ll exercise good clinical judgment during Pre-Op/Post-Op care, ensure all policies and procedures are followed, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced PACU and OR while exhibiting sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the overall management and leadership of the Surgical Center
- Provide outstanding patient care on a daily basis
- Work with Anesthesia providers on sedation and carefully monitor patients
- Prepare patients for surgery and manage recovery and discharge procedures
