Registered Nurse

About the role

The registered nurse (RN) works as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide specialized care, assessment, and education to patients with mental health disorders in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Acquire vital signs and urine drug screens
• Ensure required documentation is completed and filed as needed
• Participate in the Individual Plan of Care/Treatment Plan
• Provide nursing consultation, assistance, training and delegation of medication administration procedures to staff of Adult Outpatient
• Educate and counsel clients, family members, and primary care providers
• Be responsible for medication refills, prior authorizations, lab requisitions, and coordination of care across disciplines
• Interface with a wide range of medical and professional clinicians in hospital/clinic settings
