About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse to join the haematology/oncology Day Patient Area within Perth Royal Infirmary. The post holder will work within the nursing team to provide care to patients undergoing various Oncology & Haematology treatments and supportive care.
Responsibilities
- Work within the nursing team to provide care to patients undergoing various Oncology & Haematology treatments and supportive care
- Work effectively within a highly skilled clinical team delivering high standards of safe, effective, person centered care
- Work with the multi-disciplinary team to maintain standards of excellence and continue to improve patient experience
- Work flexibly to meet the needs of this service across NHS Tayside
- Engage in effective teamwork and communication with a wide spectrum of multidisciplinary teams
- Effectively prioritise care in an acute setting
Requirements
- Must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register
