About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Lorien Mount Airy provides comprehensive, compassionate nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies, procedures, and care plans. RNs play a key role in clinical oversight, care coordination, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care, including medication administration, monitoring vital signs, and performing assessments.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Assists with resident activities of daily living and promotes independence.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Participates in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Active Maryland RN License.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in long-term care or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred.
• Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam.

Pay

Competitive Pay: $31 - $44 / Hour

Schedule

Full-time, part-time, PRN schedules available. Shifts include 7a-730p, 3p-11p, and every-other weekend rotation (Saturday and Sunday).
