About the role

The River’s Edge Group Home seeks a Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to work with adolescent girls who have experienced complex trauma and need additional support in various areas.

Responsibilities

• Convey passion for helping others while working with a supportive team.
• Bring an energetic and positive approach to work with students.
• Provide health care services to promote healthy choices and enhance students' physical and mental well-being.
• Create a safe and therapeutic community by overseeing medication administration and completing assessments.
• Navigate students' medical needs and provide valuable skills for their success in future steps.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Connecticut RN license.
• New graduates welcome to apply.
• Residential program or mental health program experience preferred.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license due to transportation requirements.
• Pass background and driving record checks.

Qualifications

• Experience working with specialized adolescent populations preferred.

Skills

• Ability to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $29.81 to $53.00 per hour. The actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, and qualifications.

Schedule

This is a part-time position (16 hours per week). Days are flexible, with a schedule of 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, two days a week.
