Registered Nurse

Position Summary

Responsibilities

• Carry out client nursing assessments and reassessments
• Create and refine individualized care plans
• Offer supervision and clinical support to caregivers
• Involvement in caregiver orientation and ongoing staff training
• Aid with quality assurance and clinical documentation review
• Communicate with physicians, families, hospitals, and community providers as necessary
• Support client safety, wellness, and independence in the home environment
• Participate in problem-solving and clinical consultation regarding client concerns
• Learn and assist with nurse care management activities as applicable

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience preferred
• Experience in home care, case management, geriatrics, rehabilitation, or community health preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Lake Norman and Charlotte area

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in aging life care, care management, or care coordination
• Experience in training or mentoring staff
• Knowledge of senior care resources and community-based services
• Experience working with older adults and their families

Compensation

$35.00 – $40.00 per hour

Schedule

Flexible, part-time hours
