About the role
Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) and make a meaningful impact in healthcare, especially in underserved communities, through travel staffing opportunities. Contract duration is 14 weeks, with options to extend or transfer to other Sanford sites.
Responsibilities
- Utilizing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide personalized patient care.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals, including physicians, to coordinate and evaluate care plans.
- Delivering care across all phases—preventive, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
- Managing patient assessments, education, triage, and various nursing interventions.
- Practicing within the scope of nursing standards and adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Current unencumbered RN license or multistate licensure if applicable.
- Minimum one year of nursing experience, including at least six months of travel experience.
- Residency at least 60 miles from the work location.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications and competencies.
Pay
Competitive pay with a weekly pay structure.
Schedule
12-hour rotating shift, 36 weekly hours.
