About the Role
Haven of Farmer City LLC is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our skilled nursing and long-term care team. As a Registered Nurse at Haven of Farmer City, you will have the opportunity to provide direct nursing care in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting: Provide high-quality care to our residents, using your skills and expertise to ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as prescribed: Safely and effectively administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as directed by physicians and facility policies.
- Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions and care plans: Use your clinical skills to assess, monitor, and document resident conditions and care plans, ensuring continuity of care and communication with interdisciplinary teams.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary care teams: Work closely with our healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs): Mentor and guide CNAs to ensure they provide high-quality care and support to our residents.
- Ensure compliance with Illinois nursing standards and facility policies: Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and facility policies, ensuring compliance and maintaining a high-quality care environment.
Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license required: Ensure you are licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program: Have a strong educational foundation in nursing, from an accredited program.
- Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred: Have experience working in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation settings to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Ability to work every other weekend: Be flexible and willing to work every other weekend to support our 24/7 care operations.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills: Possess excellent clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills to provide high-quality care and manage complex situations.
