About the role
The position involves providing professional nursing care to residents following established policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include conducting accurate physical assessments, administering and maintaining medications, and collaborating with physicians and agencies.
Responsibilities
- Conducts accurate physical assessments of residents, determines their needs and implements appropriate interventions to meet those needs.
- Collaborates with physicians, consultants, and agencies to improve quality of services and to resolve identified problems.
- Administers and maintains inventory of resident medications/treatments as ordered by the physician and according to policy and procedures.
- Oversees care delivery by CNAs.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Hawaii.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviation.
- Experience in geriatrics and current nursing standards of practice preferred.
- Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in-house).
- First Aid and CPR preferred (can be done in-house).

Pay
Salary range for full-time positions is $75,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on experience. Part-time positions offer a $4,000 relocation assistance.
Schedule
Full-time positions are typically 40 hours per week, while part-time positions vary based on availability and schedule flexibility.
