Registered Nurse
About the role
The position involves providing professional nursing care to residents following established policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include conducting accurate physical assessments, administering and maintaining medication, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and overseeing care delivered by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
Responsibilities
- Conducts accurate physical assessments of residents, determines their needs and implements appropriate interventions.
- Collaborates with physicians, consultants, and agencies to improve quality of services and resolve issues.
- Administers and maintains inventory of resident medications/treatments as ordered by the physician and according to policy and procedures.
- Oversees care delivery by CNAs.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Hawaii.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviation.
- Experience in geriatrics and current nursing standards of practice preferred.
- Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review.
- First Aid and CPR preferred (can be done in-house).

Pay
$8,000 Retention Bonus for Full-time positions or $4,000 Relocation Assistance for Part-time positions may be provided.
