Responsibilities
- Utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide personalized patient care.
- Collaborating with healthcare colleagues, including physicians, to develop and evaluate care plans.
- Caring for patients across all phases of care—preventive, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
- Planning and coordinating care, conducting patient assessments, providing education, triage, and performing various nursing interventions.
- Practicing within the scope of nursing standards and adhering to state licensure requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Current unencumbered RN license; multistate licensure if applicable.
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience and six months of travel nursing experience.
- Ability to live at least 60 miles from the assigned facility.
- Maintaining necessary certifications and competencies specific to the department.
- Adherence to American Nurses Association standards and ethical guidelines.
- Pre-employment drug screening and background checks required.
