Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care, including routine health needs and medical emergencies.
- Administer and document medications accurately, including controlled substances.
- Carry out timely health assessments and monitor vital signs, weight, mood, and behavior.
- Coordinate lab work and accompany residents to medical appointments.
- Communicate relevant medical information to parents, the Nursing Director, and Treatment Team.
- Collaborate with therapists and psychiatric providers to support treatment plans.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate clinical documentation.
Qualifications
- Active RN/LPN License
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Experience working in a behavioral health setting.
- Experience with adolescents.
- Strong clinical skills including assessments, medication management, and monitoring vitals.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.
